Blink Intensive Tears is a hypotonic formula which helps lower the high salt concentration in the tears if dry eye patients, so that a rebalance of water exchange can be rapidly attained. Its viscosity enhancer binds 1000x its volume of water to thicken and stabilize the aqueous layer of the tear film without causing blurring whilst still retaining moisture on the ocular surface for up to 60 minutes.
